I highly recommend this tour! We opted for a private tour on our first full day on the island. Our guide, Jayla, was awesome! We visited at least half a dozen local establishments, got a history lesson and a special Moko Jumbie performance! This is our second time adding a food tour to a travel itinerary (first was in Puerto Rico) and I can say this was a highlight of our vacation! It is the best way to get oriented and learn about the culture and less touristy places to eat!

We did a private tour and it was well worth it! “Q” is very knowledgeable about the community and is trying to promote local. The food is amazing, the history about the businesses is inspiring and it is a pleasure to support local people!

STX is a foodie’s dream, and the Taste of the Twin Cities Tour with Anquanette “Q”, is a peak experience for those really wanting to get to know this paradise from a local’s point of view. We were lucky enough to be the only two to book on this particular day, and got a private tour with the knowledgeable and fun “Q,” who must know everyone on the island! In addition to introducing us to great local eateries and dishes, she imparted island history and cultural tips. With 34(!) food establishments within the downtown Christiansted district alone, there’s are so many places to try - and this tour introduced us to several authentic and inexpensive eateries we’ll return to again and again! From “doubles” to “coconut drops” to “ital” (Rastafarian vegan dishes), and of course a little rum, our minds and palates have been broadened - and our bellies sated! Thank you, Q! We’ll definitely make this a must-do recommendation to our guests-particularly recommended for early in any St Croix visit!
